There’s a big difference between sport and entertainment.  AFL is entertainment, and we shouldn’t have to pay tax to subsidise those who make a living from promoting football.  The economically disastrous Hawthorn deal is enough, surely.  Didn’t only 235 people, plus a dog turn out for the last game?  What a wonderful return on our State taxes.  Give me back my $4,500 in Stamp Duty, Airdy.
