Your event can be anything. It’s all about raising awareness of poverty, so it can be a sausage sizzle, a conference, even hula dancing.
Here are some ideas to get you started:
- organise a talk or presentation
- write an article or letter to a newspaper
- raise money for a charity
- organise a debate
- write to your MP
- organise a walk, parade or sleep out
- organise a meal service
- have an open day, display, or info stall
- hold a community fete or family day
- organise an art exhibition, film night or concert
- host a breakfast, lunch or dinner
- organise a school breakfast program
- hold a competition or school event
