Forgive my rhetorical flourish, Ben (#9). I didn’t expect really expect the Government to fess up. But I would have thought it incumbent on the 2 Opposition parties to be a little more forthcoming.
I’m fearful that the LibLab accord has now been boosted with the tacit support of the Greens when it comes to matters of long term financial management of the State.
“Why doesn’t someone ask the simple question “Mr Bartlett, your latest Mid Year Financial Report shows the government cash reserves falling to $313m by 30th June 2013 yet your latest Budget suggests there is supposed to be at least $1,500m in the account set up to extinguish the State’s unfunded superannuation liability by 2035.
“Where has the rest of the money gone?”
