Mein Got!

There already is an equiry - the law dictates that a full independent coronial inquest should occurr and should investigate the running and safety of the mine. 

This is normal procedure. 

What is this other “inquiry”?. 

Some cynics may suggest that it is purely a ploy to subvert the coronial process.

Clearly the State Government, Union and other vested interests are deperate to keep the mine going - so an inquiry which may gloss over some of the more sordid facts would be preferred to a thorough and damning Coronial inquest.

Another inquiry which has terms of reference set by vested interests is not going to be impartial.  Looks like some more spin coming our way.  I must now go and walk my monkey.

Hmmm, I am no miner but the way i understand blasting in mines is pilot holes are drilled, explosives are put in the holes then miners make go back to a safety cage in case of a rock fall and the explosives are set off,

Once it is deemed safe they leave the saftey cage and continue drilling… Seems to me a lot of questions need asking…...
