For the first few days all articles published to date will appear in the Articles section. If you are looking for articles off the main page, scroll to the bottom to click pages 2, 3, 4 to Last. News, View, Cartoons, Media Releases, What’s On  as separate sections will fill up from here on in.

You can sell your trailer in free classifieds. You can buy an ad for the right hand column. Ads rotate each time you refresh the page.

Meanwhile, STRATHLYNN …

There are still some places left to be part of the special occasion of the inaugural Tas Times Tasmanian of the Year Award, to be held at the Tamar Valley’s Strathlynn Restaurant on Saturday, 12 December.  Bookings can be made online or by mail. (Details below)  Bookings can only be accepted if payment is made ($150 per person).  Cheques should be made payable to “Tasmanian Times”.

People can book through the PayPal option on Tas Times, but if you prefer to book by mail and to request group tables, you can.  Also, bookings and requests that have already been made through the Editor of TT rather than PayPal are being handled in this way.  It has also been decided to do this in order to ensure the bookings are monitored for over-subscription, because there is a limit of 80.  In the event, however, that the function is oversubscribed by a late surge of bookings, those people will be informed and refunded as soon as possible.

This is a special event which will celebrate the growing strength of Tas Times, its vitality and increasing importance as a public forum for independent analysis of the real issues confronting Tasmanians now. It is a special event which seeks to acknowledge and recognize the courage and inspiring efforts of those in our community who fight voluntarily on behalf of us all for a healthy and democratic Tasmania.  The inaugural presentation of the Tas Times’ Tasmanian of the Year Award provides an opportunity for Tasmanians to thank someone of special significance. 

The Dinner is on Saturday evening, DECEMBER 12, at STRATHLYNN, Tamar Valley  A major public figure will be guest speaker. This is also a fund-raising event for the website.
