THE DPP remains silent about scathing criticism of him by former police commissioner Richard McCreadie.
Contacted by the Sunday Tasmanian, Director of Public Prosecutions Tim Ellis replied in an email that he would make no on-the-record comment about the matter.
However, he may be forced to speak before a Legislative Council Select Committee on Public Sector Executive Appointments.
Committee chairman Huon MLC Paul Harriss said the four-member committee would meet this week and discussion about the affair would be high on the agenda.
