Liberal leader Rene Hidding’s pre-emptive threat (From the office of Rene Hidding) to Bob Cheek over publication of his political memoir is not the only apparent missive from the Liberal heartland.

There’s another, anonymously sent, purporting to be from “a small group of ladies involved in our community and also have connections to the Liberal Party”.

It starts:

… “You don’t know us” …

… goes on to talk about damaging the party. And ends,

“Please make him stop this nonsense and order the printing of this horrible book to stop …”
