Brilliant, Wilkie just brilliant, finally Tasmania can grasp the extent of the betrayal by our political parties. Everyday Main St, Tasmania is deprived of $605,000 or at $25.00 per hour employment, thats three thousand employed people per day.
It is ludicrous to think there is any equity for Tasmanians, gaming takes the money from many families, it produces nothing but losers. Glenorchy is the ALP heartland and what does Labor do, they increase the amount of machines and destroy their own.
Only one organization benefits with no benefit in either jobs or tourism to the State. Your politicians no longer defend gaming, to them it is an insurmountable monopoly. Yet they created it, why don’t they take it away.
Good luck Wilkie, I think if you calculated how many jobs can be created or new hospitals built, State deficits eliminated, no, then again that would tire the folks. You can do it.
