Sucked in you rotten bastards. I hope one day the defendants sue the mongrels right back.

Brilliant - congratulations to the members of the 20. Amazing that Gunns has embarassed itself for a third time. Surely now they will give up.
Let’s hope this gives a boost to others who are fighting to defend Tasmania’s natural assets including the Save Ralph’s Bay group.

No one is seriously all that surprised about this, are they?
This was a frivolous action bought by a company concerned not about its reputation but its profits. Today freedom of speech—or perhaps clarity of argument—has been shown to be more valuable than that.

I am so happy. This must be so good for those people and their families.

Congratulations to the Gunns 20 and their support legals. The Supreme Court of Victoria strikes out this SLAPP damages claim for the third time!
What might we expect of the Tasmanian RPDC’s assessment of Gunn’s ‘turbo charged’ pulp mill IIS - costing millions and part paid for by taxpayers via a generous cheque from the Commonwealth Government?
