AFTER being lectured by politicians for years, the nation’s top judge has turned the tables and given politicians a lesson in how to govern the country. Chief Justice Murray Gleeson wants politicians to do more to justify their decisions.
He warned that the public now demanded a rational and fair use of power by governments and said politicians could no longer explain away their actions without justifying them.
