Why on earth would one want to watch this load of old lettuce on TV? Seriously, they are at the bottom of the stagnent pond on any ones list I would think.

Why can’t delayed telecasts be shown? I clicked the link and got a still picture ... Why not have a video form of Hansard? After all its only a few Gig at best of storage. Surely our Premier with an IT background can organise a terrabyte or two for storage. I’d be interested in seeing what really goes on, so that I can make my own mind up, without the filter of a cynical commercial media. Lets see delayed telecasts now.

One step at a time enquirer! Yes, that would be handy, but give them a break, they just got this live streaming going. The picture quality and stability is excellent btw.

I’d prefer they fix the written hansard first. There is still no way to browse by date or to permanently link directly to individual hansard page (links generated using the search feature expire after a few days).  My requests for them to fix this have been dismissed.

Dear Barry, Buzz is correct, technically there is no problem providing (video) Hansard on demand, that is because the information has already been captured and stored. I support your idea to permanently link Hansard pages, but I suspect that is much harder to do.

wow they finally did it, I had a proposed system for this back in 99/2000 and the best we could get was audio, well done to all concerned

Against much opposition I’ve been pushing Costello’s barrow for some years and after watching A.B.C.‘s Q @ A, I see no reason to have a change of opinion and should he make a run for the top job, Rudd and his motley crew are toast ! come next election.
