Congratulations. I have a beautiful Golden retriever named Charli. My love for this dear little animal grows every day. She brings an immense amount of joy to Anna and myself. Well done Brightside.

A truly beautiful piccie. A friend of mine has a pet pig called Bruce (he was rescued as a tiny piglet and is now about 2 years old). The family love him - he’s very fastidious about his sleeping arrangements and spends a lot of time fiddling about with the straw until he’s got it just right. He’s friendly to all the other humans and animals in the place. He’s also a great little worker and has single trottedly ploughed up a sizeable paddock which can be planted out with veggies. A lucky family and a very lucky pig who will never be sacrificed for bacon.

This is indeed one beaut photo…all of them look so happy.
What a dreadful sin that humans poison canines and pigs with (sodium monofluoroacetate) 1080 compound where they are considered “pests”.
No animal deserves this sort of death, no matter how they impact on mans greed and ‘profits’.
Bless you, and keep it up! The way we treat pigs would consign us to eternal damnation if there was a god on duty.

Good one Emma! I trust that your video was indeed fully recovered from the little problem at the ruMAD? conference and that you got the sound issue worked out—sorry I couldn’t have recovered it sooner for you to show on the day. Thanks for fighting for the rights of all the lovely animals in our lives… Corey Peterson

Post 5 is sad.
The initial post is one of looking on the bright side of life, but can he do that? No . . . just another reference to foxes . . . bordering on obsession really.

Visiting Brightside sanctuary is pure joy. To watch dogs, pigs, cats, ducks, chickens and horses all eagerly running up to meet the visitor causes one to melt on the spot. There is no fear in their eyes and they all co-exist in a peaceful state.

You are right “red bob” I will not rest until I shut down the use of 1080, which is what most civilised countries have done.
Why don’t you come out of the closet, use your real name (if you are not ashamed ) and tell us what your modus operandi really is?
Or are you one of the purveyors of poison?
That would explain your cowardly use of psuedonyms and explain your condoning of such a cowardly act as laying poison for innocent animals.

Yikes…I knew a farm lady, when I was living in Iowa, who loved her pigs too! They are wonderful animals.
One day they knocked her over and ate her! Fair dinkum…all that was left were her gum boots.
Love comes in various packages.
I wonder if this is a metaphor for politicians?

Red Bob - who ever you are - at .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) , where did Ian Rist refer to foxes in comment 5?
Was it in the weblink?

Re # 8.
I can’t see where I mentioned the “f” word either.
But while we are talking about obsession… there has never been anything like the fox obsession in Tasmanian by the core recipients of taxpayers money in their nine year long search for fox ‘evidence”. Just the “evidence” but no fox.
Sad really.
