How are a few, as Bryan Green said , ‘short term’ road construction jobs going to help the farmers?  McCain’s closure has not come as a surprise to many, it’s been in the wind for two years, where have labor been in the last two years? obviously not kindly connected to the farming community. For 11 years labor has done little but clearfell forests, help the woodchip industry take over productive farms and ignore some of the best potentials for Circular Head.
