In general I do not like De Anima’s comic strips, but I have to accept that the two-headed, fat monster is really funny.

There is no such event as a win win situation, that expression is simply spin.

What I would like to read, is a balanced view of the proposed Meander dam. Stuffing around with river systems, has had a disastrous effect in Australia, you just have to look at the Murray.

But the whole point is, that if you protest, immediately the pro dammers call you an irrational greenie. That, has been the problem in Tasmania, remember the Franklin? We are not lighting candles as a consequence of that rush of blood to the head Hydro bit in the teeth exercise not happening, are we?

My view is that any dam on the Meander should be an excess flow or a flood fill dam, designed to allow the normal flow, and to capture excess river flow, If the prodammers would not not go along with that then, they would be facilitating those greedy people ,and their own self interest,
