Can anyone beat this;  Sunday 19th, 3:30pm and the phone starts ringing with worried locals wondering where the fire was. 

On phoning Tas Fire Services we are told that it is a burn off at “Woods Road, Middleton” on a 49 hectare property. 

The strange thing was that nobody had heard of Woods Road.  Further searching of the area by a local indicated that it was coming from a new local coupe! 

Is this some sort of record, or maybe a new benchmark?  Anyway, get used to it Channel & ‘Town’ dwellers, this is just the second coupe in a long line of possible coupes extending along the Channel ridgeline towards Margate.

The election over, an advertisement proclaiming fire as the best way to prepare the ground for planting of trees has surfaced in the local rag.
Must have been whacked in on Friday, which is most convenient or well planned.

The Tamar branch of the local burn off crowd (who will remain nameless) are ready to fill our kids lungs with billowing smoke.

And they worry about fags?

“I love the smell of napalm in the morning”.

I wonder if they ever thought people would still be using that line in 2006 on the apple isle?
