Now We the People (Tasmania) will be holding an Open Air Forum, titled “Solutions for a Better Tasmania”, on the lawns outside Parliament House, Hobart on Saturday 20 February, starting at 11.00 am. Speakers will be Senator Christine Milne, Vica Bayley from the Wilderness Society, Peter Cundall, Lucy Landon-Lane from ‘Pulp the Mill’, Peter Boyer, Hayley Bester from the public transport lobby group, Bus It, Susan Hawkins and State Secretary of the Firefighters Union, Richard Warwick. Topics to be covered include climate change, forestry, public transport, education, manufacturing industry and meaningful employment in a sustainable future. …
