Everyone knows our two major parties are deeply disconnected from the Australian community and unrepresentative of the society they seek to govern. The issue is whether it is possible to do anything about it.
Individual citizens, on their own, are powerless to make a difference. A broad national process to bring Australians together in shaping a new political instrument is needed.
