“And last night Greens leader Bob Brown told The Australian his party would back construction of a better-designed mill at Hampshire, 28km south of the port city of Burnie. “We would like to see a mill at Hampshire that was based on plantations and closed-loop (recycled waste water),” Senator Brown said. “That would be an option that we could and would accept.” He said Hampshire had the benefit of being surrounded by plantations and did not have the same air inversion layer that made the emissions of fine particulates such a concern to public health in the Tamar. . .”

Let’s find the not-so-hidden meaning from this by the Greens:

* It’s okay to continue an industrial paradigm that is proven to poison people and populations and destroy flora and fauna (industrial tree monocultures);

* We (the Greens) will lie about there not being an inversion layer in the Burnie, Somerset, Penguin valleys because it suits our agenda.  In fact, like any political party hack, lying is always an option;

* Not in our backyard.

* ‘Green’ in name only whenever it suits the cause of gaining more votes.
