I would like to congratulate the HCC on giving itself permission to erect the ‘metal thing’ down at Lower Sandy Bay.It can be a monument to apathy and poor taste. A more useless object I cannot imagine.
Aldermen used to getting their own way have got it,at the expense of a ripped off ratepaying public.
This is twice that we have been shafted,once by the dirty trickery of the mobile phone mast and now a
piece of unoriginal overpriced metal that would look more at home in a scrapyard.Well done you proud and decisive aldermen,you must be having a good chuckle at your evening’s work.Having the last laugh is a way of life for you isn’t it?
Can I suggest a new motto for our local authority,
“DE GUSTIBUS NON EST DISPUTANDEM”.It would be approppriate at the base of the “object”.
