The Infrastructure Minister Graeme Sturges dismissed fears that the government’s contingency plan using LD Shipping would not work because its ship has mechanical problems. “[The owner] has assured us he will be out sailing on the next scheduled trip to Flinders Island on Monday,” Mr Sturges said. “We’ve been in contact with the stock agents so everything will continue to operate and services will be provided to Flinders Island.” Read more HERE
