“What we are seeing here is a severe loss of credibility in a man who promised so much when he took over the reins of education from Paula Wriedt. If his teachers think he is a bully and have no confidence in him, then where is he?” Mr Brown said. “If he thinks his bullying, refusal to consult is winning him any friends he is sadly mistaken The resentment directed at him and his half-baked plan is clear at our meetings. What the Tasmanian school community wants is someone who will show leadership not someone whose only desire is to ram his ideas down students’, parents’ and teachers’ throats.”
