TEACHERS at the former Hobart College campus are threatening a mass strike on the first day of school next year. Staff at the college plan to enlist other campuses in an indefinite statewide strike ahead of the March election. Union and non-union staff of both the Academy and Polytechnic have voted 92 per cent in favour of a strike unless the State Government reverses its Tasmania Tomorrow reforms.
