
TEACHERS angry about education reforms will stage a series of strikes just days before the state election on March 20. … “Meanwhile, in an interim report on the post-year 10 reforms, Auditor-General Mike Blake said he could find no evidence for the 95 per cent retention rate cited by the State Government. He said comparative census data was not available but data did show a 12 per cent increase in enrolments at Polytechnic and Academy campuses from 2008 to 2009.
