Take note of who the Tasmanian Police are closest to watching.
They’re obviously not worried about the anti-pulp mill people (who kept out of the way and off the road), leaving the government cars to drive in and out of the school grounds without incident, again.
Some pro-pulp mill people probably would have had jobs in an aptly sized and sustainable chlorine-free non-polluting state-of-the-art closed loop system pulp mill by now if the Lennon/Bartlett Labor Tasmanian Government didn’t corrupt the approvals process at the behest of Gunns to bulldoze a project which was not originally proposed through the system.
They have the Lennon/Bartlett Government and Gunns to thank for their unemployment, and that of many other forestry and timber workers and contractors who they have laid off and screwed for money.
There is no demand for pulp worldwide so why waste public money and time?
The Bartlett Government should be investing in real jobs, sustainable ones with good pay.
