Congratulations on the comprehensive Bonham article on the council elections’ underway at present (article immediately below).

It has been frustrating that the level of comment from the media has been so earth shatteringly quiet that most people I talk to have no idea the elections are on or if they do, when they have to vote by.

Perhaps the avoidance of any significant coverage indicates a lack of interest by the media because of other news stories but this would surely be hard to back up . If I do get elected I will work to encourage , along with others a resurgence of interest by the media in this vital level of government, which in turn must presumably help to grow the woeful traditional return rate of voters intentions!
