THE Education Union has demanded a plan to fix problems with education reforms be produced within two weeks. An AEU survey of 331 teachers and staff has found extensive problems with the reforms, including a lack of leadership, supervision and support on campus. Hobart College staff have expressed no confidence that the reforms have led to better outcomes for students and Elizabeth College is threatening industrial action over transition arrangements to the new system from next year.
