I do believe it’s time for Fiona Reynolds to tell Tasmanians why the Examiner has such as pro-stance toward all that issues from Gunns Ltd and their coterie of ex-and failed Premiers as writers for her Newspaper?
Also the questions must be asked if the advertisers loyal to the Examiner are getting value for their advertising dollar?
Another question could be, the why of the muzzling of the truth of the doings of the forestry industry and its continuing degradations upon Tasmania?
Were this newspaper to become extinct, I imagine Tasmania will still roll along without its pro-pulp-mill palavers and obeisance to John Gay?

“Staff blame Lennon for poor poll result.” .....Obviously no-one looked at his record from his previous job. But I have noticed that their spelling and grammar have improved slightly. Keep up the great work!

Interesting that in The Sunday Examiner, Lady Fiona does publish nearly 2 pages of comments on the issue of criticism that The Examiner is bias towards Gunns Ltd. She publishes a range of opinions ,some critical of herself as an editor, in an attempt to redress the balance, or at least pay lip-servive to some sort of watered down journalism ethic. This is followed by 5 PAGES of GUNNS ‘ADVERTISING’ (though set out like news articles). ‘More Jobs’,‘Family Friendly’, Oh poor me Gunn’s the real battlers story and let’s toast the success with a piccy of Don Burke. What a load of hypocitical bullshit this newspaper is! On the one hand, to say there is no bias directed to favour the pulp mill and it’s proponent, followed by a 5 page spread of Gunns propaganda and spin! Un-be-faarkin-lievable!
