We would like to share with you some of the exciting developments at the Goulburn Street Gallery.
Longer opening hours
Starting this weekend we will be extending our opening hours to include Saturdays and Sundays from 10am to 4pm.
‘Glow’ by Leigh Steven & Louise Bloomfield
Don’t forget to join us this Friday at 6pm for the opening of ‘Glow’.  The show will run till 4 November.

First Birthday
We have just celebrated one year of trading and are very optimistic about the future of the gallery. The endorsement of some 45 diverse and talented artists has been overwhelming.

Full gallery program
Our greatest challenge now is to ensure that all of the artists who have joined us get a fair showing.  Our 2011 program is fully booked and we are looking at alternative ways to exhibit their art.

Mini Exhibitions
We have established one wall of the gallery to feature a different artist each week.  This week we are thrilled to be featuring Patricia Giles.

Mailing list
Our emailing list is continuing to grow quite rapidly and some people have expressed a preference to receive an invitation by post rather than email.  There is something about an invite stuck to the fridge door to help remind you of an event.  Please let us know if you would like us to post you an invitation.
Stockroom
Our stockroom is also continuing to grow and we have recently built new racks and shelving to accomodate our stock of art.  We have on hand art by most of the artists that call the gallery home.

MS Society Auction
A number of our artists are offering their work for auction at the Moorilla MS Melbourne Cup Luncheon & Art Exhibition.  This should be an excellent opportunity to source art at a great price while supporting a very worthy cause.  There are a limited number of tickets available.  Phone Di on 03 6220 1111
Special buys
We have a couple of pieces in stock by Nicholas Blowers and Geoff Dyer for resale that provide an opprtunity to buy at excellent prices.

Framing
We invite you to talk to us about your custom framing needs.  We have moved our framing equipment to the gallery to enable a more efficient turnaround of frames.
