Former Premier Michael Field will launch Electric Eric at Fullers Bookshop, 6pm Friday, November 27.

Electric Eric, The Life and Times of an Australian State Premier by Dr Jillian Koshin not only tells the story of Eric Reece, creative, stout and authoritarian but also tells the story of his life and times though Tasmania’s recent history.

Reece was known as Electric Eric for his promotion of Tasmania’s hydro electricity schemes.

Dr Jillian Koshin is a historian based in Launceston.
