LOCO presents a survey of the best and most dynamic work from the School of Visual and Performing Arts BCA, MCA, MFA and PhD examination folios of 2011. Curated by SVPA Alumni Melanie Kershaw, the LOCO exhibition gives a wonderful overview of the 2011 graduate portfolio presentations. Fresh in look, enthusiastic in visual and powerful in expression, the LOCO exhibition presents a survey of the interest and movements at play with the School of Visual and Performing Arts in 2011.
Audiences will experience a variety of mediums and themes, as explored by graduates from all SVPA courses. Works on exhibition include theatre, painting, drawing, print media, sculpture, ceramics and textiles with students represented from local, national and international backgrounds.
The diversity of LOCO demonstrates the vibrancy and cross-cultural exchange taking place constantly at the Inveresk Cultural Precinct.
