Cityprom has developed the Love Launnie brand and campaign, ‘brimming with positivity’, to take Launceston forward as a city and build upon the north’s strengths.

Cityprom is now inviting Launceston businesses to use Love Launnie to promote their business and Launceston to the rest of Tasmania by telling everyone what makes Launceston special. Cityprom has developed a tool kit that contains resources to apply Love Launnie to your own brand and marketing.

The Love Launnie website is for anyone that wants to use the new branding to promote Launceston, their business or community group or anyone who wants to share their love for Launnie.

“When you download the Love Launnie Toolkit you will have a number of resources to apply Love Launnie to your own brand and marketing. You can also apply the brand to your everyday life by putting a bumper sticker on your car, using the hashtag #lovelaunnie or sharing this website with your friends and family.”

The tagline will be applied to different streets and precincts within the city and Cityprom member businesses will be encouraged to participate.

Cityprom plans to launch an advertising campaign that includes radio, TV, social media, billboards, street art, bus backs, window wraps, posters and bumper stickers.

“We envisage implementing footpath stickers, window wraps and street art incorporating the brand to further drive the campaign and create points of interest in Central Launceston.”
